How did you discover steemit?
I was just thinking, it would be pretty cool to see how everyone discovered steemit.
For me, it was hacker news (the article about KickassTorrents founder getting arrested), in one of the comments someone talked about how seemit is powered by Ethereum and how maybe something similar could be done for a torrent site.
I'd heard of Ethereum a few times but didn't know what it was, and never heard of this steemit, figured I'd check it out, and here I am :)

I was reading this article - https://cointelegraph.com/news/steem-chasing-ether-in-market-cap - and clicked on the "Steemit" link yesterday afternoon. One thing led to another and life has not been the same since;)
I randomly clicked a link in the troll bar on poloniex and it opened up my world. its funny how something that I could have missed had I been a split second later has already had my hooked for a week and a half.
