'The Indian Product Exhibition'
Last week, we have visited 'The Indian Product Exhibition'. These came from the Morongo Indian Reservation that dates back during 1865, one of nine small reservations created by President Ulysses S. Grant by executive order in 1876.
It has fantastic array of ethnic products that were on display. The local Indian are innovative and creative individuals, all product design were fantastic.
These are ethnic jewelry, necklaces made from variety of semi-precious stones,
raw stones such as turquoises, agates, turmalines, and many more.
Assorted accessories made from bear skins, calf's leather, bird's feathers.
These are just few materials that were used to make into shoes, hats and home decors.
These are home made candles from variety of herbs which can lighten up your
room, and give it a sweet aroma. They also have bulb-shaped glass decanter with
desert sand, colored pebbles and miniature colored rocks.
Assortments of handmade jars, homemade decors and wooden accessories.

I enjoy it.
I'd love to have one of those sage candles. My grandma had one before from her friend who went to a candle shop and they shop sold different kinds of candle. She told me it the sage candle helps remove stress and tension.
Must be nice to see some ethnic products, you don't get to see them a lot nowadays. ;(
Thanks for sharing this, you look like you had a great time and hope you got something nice for your self as a souvenir ;)
Have a good one always!

Yes, actually I did bought nice stuffs, and I like talking to them asking them a lot of questions. I also share
this post as an inspiration to people, sort of an idea that they can produce beautiful things like this with their own material.
cool! what did you get?
I do the same thing, I think it's a good way to connect with people and they appreciate that we ask questions so they can share a little bit of their story and we'd realize that they're already sharing their culture ;)
back in the old days when everything was made by hand and everything was just beautifully crafted.
Great creativity! Thsnks for sharing!
