Steemit A Job?
Like many people, I wish that I could make a full time living blogging and writing great articles on Steemit, but what exactly does it take to achieve this? At what point can you quit your day job, tear down your cubicle and say I'm free and steemit is my new source of income. Well I went through the hot and the trending tabs, did some painstaking math and did the work for you. Here's what you need to do to make steemit a fulltime job. I obtained these statistics by taking the numbers from the first 50 articles and averaged them all together in excel. Here are some statistics.
1.) The average writer in the "hot" tab has a Reputation score of 62.5
2.) The average writer in the "trending" tab has a Reputation score of 66.0
3.) The average writer in the "trending" has 1583 followers
4.) The average post in "trending" earns $144.04 which equates to 37,440 a year should you post one article a day and get the average.
5.) This is equivalent to an 18 dollar an hour job.
Hope this helps you. Anyways happy steeming.
