Social Medias lead to Mental Degradation but Steemit is Different
I scrolled recently my VK feed (it's a "Russian Facebook") and got stucked by the amount of pictures I'm forced to perceive.
Actually, my mind doesn't need so many imagies. And I even don't have a choice if to watch them or not. Because bright pics and ads are everywhere.
News in social webs like VK and Facebook also based on a recognition principle, so you read what you already read and this goes on and on to keep you on a site.
Then I watched my Steemit feed and found these posts:

Reading these posts (or at least scrolling through them) gives me more useful info and what's more important - more true information.
These authors are independent and they are interested in making a better content.
On Steemit I can see people's opinions, photos, stories from different places of the world without any "news" or cencorship filter. That's great! Why to watch a TV weather forecast (which is always the same) when I can look at the weather from people cameras and text they're blogging?
Furthermore, I see here more text and I read more. It's more useful for my brain functioning than clicking public pages with pics.
