Posting Best Practices...help! Zappl vs Dtube vs DSound etc...steemCreated with Sketch.

in #steemit8 years ago

So here's the deal. I want to support the various projects being built on top of Steem. Zappl, DTube, DSound, etc. The issue i'm having is that it posts my same content which seems a bit scammy.

I'm not here to benefit multiple times from the same content. I produce high-quality content that I want to share with the world and secure in the blockchain.

What do you recommend I do? How should I manage this? I want to preserve an A+ reputation around here and build an amazing audience and community.

Came for the best practices knowledge, left LOLing at your blunt sarcastic comment replies. 1st Fave "ur not even trying." 2nd Favorite "wtf are you talking about?"

haha yeah, i get ahead of myself every once in a while. Hope to see your comments on future post :)

Yeah, I feel like you need a toggle for auto-posting. In specific, on Dsound, what I want in my mix description might not be what I want in a post talking about it.

But these things come out in the wash, I'm sure we'll see flexible solutions for all.

yeah, it's kind of a pain. I'd like to see sites pop up that filter content better. Steemit.com hasn't had much improvement (it seems) in a year or so.

The entire social media and crypto mashup is starting to see a bit of traction from what I've seen. The only issue is that there doesn't seem to be anything out there right now to compete. I'm keeping an eye on the market though.

Content is definitely king, and you need to able to both display and discover in a useful fashion. As an example - I want to read about music, but specific music at that. It's only by looking around, finding and adoption underutilised tags that I get a vague window in.

Still, every social network was really plain to start off, and took years to refine.

and Steem has a serious advantage right now, but there's so many things that are lacking..especially in the UX/UI area. They aren't taking Steemit.com srsly, but I believe that was the point the whole time. They don't care abt Steemit.com, only building out the Steem blockchain. Foolish, imo.

I feel the task is unenviable. Making a social network is hard, getting adoption is hard, getting engagement is hard. Then fling trying to make waves in blockchain as it’s all starting to go a little bit crazy in there... and both have to work.

I’m curious enough to run with the journey though.

no doubt. Will be interesting to see what Clout.io does. They are focusing on only crypto news and discussion. Yours.org has no chance to replace Steem. Super small dev team, not placing content in the blockchain and website is very VERY basic.

Akasha.world is the other one I’ve seen but I’ve got scant details on that. Time will tell. As I say, I’m in full curiosity mode and it’s keeping an idle mind ticking over.

Maybe use a different color scheme for your thumbnail image?

You can make new post having newly designed thumbnail image

and then list the group links of the posts that you want to support.

what do you mean the "group links"?

Sorry for the typing mistake. i meant "group of links". According to how i understood your question, I think that making a special post is better than re-steeming their original posts. In the new post you can have different thumbnail and can add more of description about various projects being built on top of Steem within the post and then list their posts links within the new post. In this case, even if you get benefit multiple times, then it will be clear that you have put double of efforts in both posts.

i'm talking about posting my own content. The past episodes from www.LibertyEntrepreneurs.com.
