Steemit, STEEM, STEEM Dollars, STEEM Power and Wallet Explained
Steemit.com is social media site where users earn rewards when community members 'upvote' their posts.
Posts are allowed seven days to to collect upvotes. After seven days the total post earnings can be redeemed for STEEM Dollars (SBD) and STEEM Power. Users with more STEEM Power gain more influence on the network and will earn more rewards from their posts. STEEM Power can be converted back to STEEM coins in a 104 day process called "powering down".
