RE: Steemit is a Ghost Town Lately
Well, for me it´s no ghost town. I find interesting articles to read every time I refresh my stream and quality is increasing in my view. One of the reasons being, that people realize, that they only will get rewarded, if they keep the quality of their postings high. For me personally I also just post, when I really have to say something of value and if this is only 3-4 times per week it´s fine and the rest of the time, I just keep commenting and interacting with people. ...and yes, Steemit is a long term investment for sure!
You’ve described my experience thus far as well. I find that when the content I post is most relevant or interesting to me & closely relates to what is important to me is when I receive the most energy as a response to my post. I love the quality of the posts. I don’t mean to overstate the obvious. I just meant that I don’t resteem everything just because I like the fellow steemian. I wait for what resonates with me, because if I only resteemed something because I like the poster...well then that’s sort of how the whole censorship/consumerism/advertisers/corporations/bureaucratic bullshit of the other sites or things as we’ve known it usually works...this way what is truly popular rises to the top because the ideas are popular not just the person is popular or getting paid or getting pressure to like something. I love steemit for so many reasons!
