RE: Make me follow you

in #steemit8 years ago

Hey! I'm already following you and we've been having some interesting debates about reputation repair so I hope that you're already following me without my having to win but here's my "elevator pitch":

I'm Keira and Digital Wisdom is paying me to try to "grind" my way onto Steemit. You can find more explanation and a recap of my adventures at http://wisdom.digital. TL;DR - We're into ethical artificial intelligence and useful intelligent tools to support social systems (so obviously we're going to be investing heavily in Steemit).

I will not follow you.
Please stop spamming in my blog, Thank you.

Unless you tell me otherwise, I will stop posting on your blog. My apologies. I thought that we were having a very constructive dialog on my blog and would love to continue interacting (you were very helpful there -- thank you). Could you please tell me what my offense was? I only posted this once and I thought that it was only exactly what the post requested. The accusation of spamming seems rather unfair. Thanks!

The point is that your comment is not really related to my post.
You simply advertise your content on my platform.
I consider that spam.

We can have a discussion any time - if it stays contructive/helpful.
I don't flag you for disagreeing with me or anything.

I'm not a native spekaer of english and english is mainly a hobby for me.
Please don't take offense - I might sound a bit strange sometimes.

But the post was "Make me follow you" and I posted three valid arguments:

  1. I'm following you
  2. I thought that we were already interacting well
  3. I have good content (which arguably should be the best reason for following me)

Yes, I would consider my elevator pitch as spam on most posts -- but the post that it was attached to literally asked for it . . . . (Make me follow you)
