A TALE FROM A BROTHER IN THE HOOD
Hidden by the darkness of this hood,
Hidden by the confines of this neighborhood,
I wish to be apart from the rest my kind
For I have become a one-pointer of a thousand lives...
Masked in this sewn material of dust,
Masqueraded but real to my thoughts,
It's only I who knows how many thousand
Dresses of my kind I've shredded
For the brotherhood, the brotherhood in arms!
Hidden by the darkness of my hood,
The tickles of a gun disturb my hands,
Shielded by dark,
I'm yet to take another my kind,
I'm yet to shred to pieces another dress like mine!
