STEEM FAMILY ENCOURAGEMENT! I know how it feels some days out there brothers & sisters. Let us encourage one another.
Many new people and veteran Steemians are here daily. Some posts do well, other days, not as much. I remember when my post first started to make a few dollars and I was so thankful, and for the help and support along the way.
Then awhile back we had the Hard Fork and for weeks, we had to refill the reward pool, and payouts dropped. Many people left the platform or at least for awhile, discouraged about this or that.

I decided hearing that news to dig in harder, blog even MORE - despite some of the issues. I have questioned some of the stuff here at times, lost support by people who look the other way at things, and I lost support and that is fine, I don't really like people like that anyways who are self centered or 1% focused.
I posted this around that time months ago and I will post this again.
I came for the crypto learning and community, and found friends and rewards apart from earning actual Crypto $ here.

I am headed offline early tonight, my headaches are often bad with my injuries. I wrote this thinking of you and a few others and the new people in crypto, I hope you feel encouraged today.

Dude that would be sweet. I was in such pain last nite again, I just pasted that message into my reply, pinned it at the top and got off as quickly as I could, I try to not let it bother me but some days it is just too much.

It is important for people to understand that we always have to keep steeming. Especially after hardforks. We do have many new Steemians and we need to be sensitive to the fact that it is NEVER as easy as it looks on Steemit and the best advise that you can give anyone (old or new) is not to give up! Just hang-in there @aineyann! Everybody wins when we work together. People's posts are getting buried quickly these days because we have had and influx of new Steemians and existing Steemians posting like crazy after the hardfork a week ago. We are all adjusting to what this "now" means for us, in terms of how the platform will work under these new conditions. :)

That's the truth. If you aren't getting the results you want, try harder. The people who are really successful on SteemIt have either been around for awhile, like 6 months to a year, or they brought a following they already had from sites like YouTube Twitter and Reddit. Sometimes it's your content that requires more effort but mostly it seems outreach/community involvement are key. Comment from the heart, reply to others comments. Upvote comments on your posts and don't just get yourself out there on SteemIt. Use SteemIt as a base, always do your actual posting here, always link back to it but be sure to advertise your posts on sites like twitter and reddit. Also the SteemIt Telegram group as well as the SteemIt Chat promotion groups are great places to not only post your work but discover great posts by others also looking to grow their network. Nothing inspires someone to upvote your work more then you upvoting their work as well. Pretty much everyone will follow you back as well and if they really like your post and it's relevant to their blog they'll re-steem you as well. I also make a point of sharing posts I have Re-Steemed on my twitter, facebook and linkedin pages. The more you give the more you get.

I will check it out. I grew up on the New York State border of Canada, so i'm practically canadian myself. I know this because even though I left NY 20 years ago, I still say "eh" all the time.

This is so true when we spend a lot of effort ad brain power on a post and dont get the rewards we expect it can be disheartning. For me, i need to start believing " good things come to those who wait " I would love to get 100$ on at least one post LOL! But if i do I will value it more :) . Somedays I fall out with steemit ( for like 10 mins, when I reach for the laptop again!,haha)
