In my country (Russia) there are special organizations that help to collect the debts. They are legal but they use illegal methods quite often. That's why no one jests with them. Of course they are involved in as last resort. Usually people never want it to come to this.
Hello @bayrene, thanks for sharing your wisdom with us all. Many retailer I have seen have put in place a set of processes to handle delinquent accounts. Collection Processes is one of them where customers are encouraged to pay by giving them a call, letters or door hangers etc. If that also doesn't work then severance process starts. Which comprises reduction of credit rating, cash only rating and at last collection agency.
