Sneak seems to have enough time to go around opinion flagging and voting for spammers so he obviously thinks he's doing a good job. Why should we have to go and use a different gateway to Steemit? I have a Steemit account for that!

It has seemed to get better - and I'm sure you all know the personalities behind this better than I do, since I don't at all, but wouldn't you say that the operator/manager post for the main front-end should be at least as democratically elected as the witnesses?
Single clicks are a thing of the past. Steemit innovated way past that.

I totally agree that steemit is a piece of shit! I wait for 10 minutes to send my post. It looks like these guys do not know how to program at all. Why does the site work so badly? This will scare very many people away. And the new interface is shit. I do not see any significant advantages for myself.
Why not use busy.org like the rest of us? Yeah, steemit.com is slow and buggy AF, but busy is still here, loyally serving me since my return to this platform.
Because with all of the $$$$ @ned has raked in with the Steem they've sold (MILLIONS $$$ worth), they have plenty of funds to make this site what it should be.
Now, obviously all of that $ has made them lazy so it's up to us to ensure they use it properly and not on hookers and blow (like they probably are).
I 100% Agree with this.
But what is worse is that SteemIt BARELY uses their own Network.
So they Pre-Mine a fortune out of the Crypto and then wait on EVERYONE ELSE to pump value into the Crypto that they didn't EARN but instead just TOOK right off the top for themselves.
And over a year in Beta, these guys have the audacity (or ignorance) to promote the new paint job and a NEW Token... while the entire network remains almost unusable.
This will be an interesting end of the year because I'm expecting ANYTHING ELSE will come on the scene to replace this mistake.
Anyone familiar with large inflows of VC/startup capital to inexperienced individuals knows the hookers and blow is 100% correct.

Don't know about better, but less expensive. Although with what Starbucks charges that's starting to get debatable.

Those posts are a dime a dozen (literally) on steemit. After 2 days here, you're just about ready to type up a rant. I've done it a bunch of times. But since bernie here has more followers and probably a better understanding of Steemit than I, I was hoping for actual operative suggestions. Otherwise I wouldn't be commenting here but instead investing time in creating worthy original content of my own.

Well for one, his original post says he used another service to submit his post, making it known he knows how to find and use other services to create Steem content. Thus making your suggestion seem like you didn’t even read his post entirely.
I am pretty sure I did. Maybe brain farted. I just don't understand why steemit.com being a slow crappy piece of poo has anything to do with steem trying to grow into a place what reward quality content. Like it was meant to be, I believe.
Maybe we shouldn't have to trust our keys to another platform? Did you have a look at Steemconnect?

I understand your struggle, but there are alternatives. You can try busy.org or steemitstage.com(the one I'm using right now). I'm sure you won't have issues with these two. The beauty of this platform is that you can't be stocked in one route. I would even suggest you launch your own site, cuz it appears to me you know so much about how websites works. It's about how the company is being viewed from the people outside, who cares that you use busy.org if new users don't know about it?
Imagine if this was faceb00k and someone told you to use some 3rd party site called blow.org, doesn't make facebook look too good huh.
Just the homepage is changed..but more bugs got sucked in.. the loading time is so slow, and every now and then this error that error

Thanks for posting a link to usesteem. And I'm glad you brought up the issue of steemit.com's sluggishness.
Some people here recommend busy, etc, and I already opened like 30 tabs of Steemit. 😱 Good luck too me! 🤗
