Which does not provide any value what so ever or even in many cases does not even relate to what I just posted about not only will you not get an upvote but in some cases you might even get a flag from me!
Steemit is a strong stable community and those of you new coming in here need to take the time and effort to read posts and leave valid and valuable comments. This is how we all got started here on steemit and why it has grown into such a flourishing community. Which I hope I speak for the majority here we hope to keep intact and stronger then ever.
This is by no means to deter you from earning on steem but honestly the opposite allowing you to thrive!
Lets all work together in making steemit a place people want to come to meet others, connect, build friendships, business partnerships and earn all in a friendly environment. Enjoy! Keep posting and remember high value is rewarded! Be sure to reward others as well for their high value.
I had to immediately scroll down to the comments to see if anyone did exactly what you said, not to do LOL. And of course, there's already been a few. I still don't get some of these people, it's REALLY no so hard to type real responses LOL
Exactly I even made it big and bold so even if you where skimming the post you should of at least seen that :P
I admire you taking a stand on this. It’s true, there are a lot of bots and spammers that just post the same comment in hundreds of posts hoping to maybe get an upvote or two. Kinda pathetic.
If we want Steemit and STEEM to grow and increase in value, the content and product as a whole has to continue to expand. That doesn’t happen with hundreds of “Good post, I like it.” Comments.
Hopefully people stop this as I don’t see many people upvoting or paying attention to comments like that.

I wonder how many generic comments this post will receive. I have seen this trend recently on many other posts, I don't know why this happens, maybe because the user base is growing and there are much more people trying to get upvotes...

Oh this is hilarious! You write a nice post about how people shouldn't comment crappy little comments that have absolutely no value whatsoever, and you warn them that those type of comments will earn them a flag from you - within 30 minutes you get 3 commentors doing exactly what you just told them not to do! I almost want to flag them myself!

Sorry my friend, there are many beginners here who do not know the good ways to interact and how to get Affoot so I hope to forgive them and do not blame them as long as beginners and over time you get enough experience to understand all things
Those kinds of people (that are LQ postings) are coming here just hoping to make the quick bucks I guess. They want the quickest shortcut to get their $. I doubt they even read the whitepaper that the devs' been putting lots of effort into.
The idea is rewarding contents that they wrote in STEEM, but what they've doing isn't contributing any contents, it actually hurts the platform. And people need to realize that if they want STEEM to thrive.
yeh exactly newbies use shortcut to earn some money and coments on every posts with nice good post or something elase but don't know what is inside in the post.
yaah many people i see in steemit only comment i.e nice good etc are looking spaming ! steemit become strong and strong and we shold value the post with valid comment!
We gotta show people that this type of auto bot commenting provides no value and does not help the community at all.
I'm new and learning. And couldn't agree more. My English teacher always told me I'd be a good write. But life had other plans. Fashion...now crypto. Out of fiat and into crypto. And can't seem to get out and I'm loving it...as well found steemit. And I'm excited. To start writing a few articles. Specifically in crypto. Working on ideas and learning how it all works. Love the idea free the internet and get paid fir our work. But that's not the point. What is getcrewarded and help other who need it. Is more important. I posted a small article toshi app. That they give you a dollar to join and all they ask is to donate it to help. To my astonishment I think I recived 1 reply. Yes I know I'm new and need to work. But it's so simple and people just don't take the time to read and help. So yes your 100% right. Flag me because I felt what you said. Until I said stop read write focus and don't just click. Because how ela will I get the following to get reward to help. Amen

I hear some of these BS comments are actually bots. I dont know but I get them too. I was chatting with @flauwy, and he gets the same.
This is only magnified if one upvotes the comments left in his/her articles. It seems this draws the voting bots and senseless posters in like flies.
I comment you for bringing this up....I guess today is analyze the comments day...I am in the process of putting together a post about it too.
Well, i think people just don't take out time to read post before commenting. Everyone wants to be the first in order to get good upvotes. As for me, I read the posts. If i dont understand it, i walk away and not comment. If i have to comment, then it should be more than just "good post, thanks for sharing"
