Looking Back... Taking What Works Forward
Hello Steemit Family,
I'm returning to Steemit after a time of Inner Journeying. Priorities have been updated. Resources and Tools have been catalogued. I am back Steemin' It.
As an individual, I do well with such a structure of priorities, they act as a framework for decision making... Saving me lots of grief and time.
Today I begin a discussion about assembling for myself a set of #Steemit values to help make time and benefit analysis more straightforward... This is the Geek!!! in me shining.
In my time of reduced interaction these last few weeks, I found myself really missing the relationship building that happens through our comments here on Steemit.
The Value of Comments
A large part of my Steemit value system was developed while a grateful member of the Stewards of Terra Mater, a group which was created by @wwf and included supportive delegations.
The delegation piece of the Stewards of Terra Mater has ended , but the real connections it created remain active.
I began to dig into old posts written by @wwf about the SOTM looking for some bits to share and stumbled upon this...
A blessing offered at the close of one of his first posts about the Stewards of Terra Mater.
May the ideas spread through our hearts and manifest in our actions in life so that we can build experiences and memories that we can then take with us when we are finished here. @wwf
My friend @wwf, I do believe this is coming to pass... Hugs!
I am fine tuning my comment plan with much of what I have observed from @wwf and the other SOTM members.
"I work hard to encourage interactions within my work. That builds loyalty and relationships. That is, I find, the best way to succeed here on Steemit." ~offered wisdom of @wwf
My Plan
It is in these comments, these interactions where many of the benefits of Steemit happen for me on a personal level.
I know for me personally, having a cheerleader on the sideline of a knitting project helps me to see it through and share at the end. That online interaction improves my daily life.
I am a bit of a hermit here on my Mountaintop homestead, I treasure the worldwide online friendships I have made.
I intend to invest time regularly into managing the future of these relationships.
Currently, I will be choosing to not upvote comments. The small value of my current vote to the best of my knowledge is below the payout threshold. This is not really doing any good.
I will be focusing on voting on posts while I continue to build my SP to a value where voting on comments makes good sense.
So I hope you Enjoy the interactions and conversations that happen on posts.
Whew... That's enough for today.
More tomorrow take care all. Hugs!

I am deeply honoured and touched by your post, vision and words my dear spiritual sister. I am actually stunned that you went that far back to read some of those old posts too. You are indeed a Steward of Terra Mater. Even though the delegations are gone, the spirit lives on within you and that is what I was looking for. Well done and I pray that the sacred work that you do ripples throughout your life, the blockchain and the world. I have no doubt that Creator is moving your spirit to walk this path. I look forward to being a witness to it all. I will be here for as long as I can. So I ask that we walk side by side as we influence the world while we share with those willing to listen. <3
Thank you @wwf. Many of us here are on the vocational part of our journeys... Our true work. I think it is fantastic that we have this virtual location from which to support and encourage one another. I look forward to see how our dreams bloom. Hugs to you and your Lady!
Sounds like you have a plan @borrowedearth I am glad to see you Steeming again! I look forward to our interactions. Lota of love & many blessings -Jill 🌸
Excited to get to know you better @yogajill. Hugs
I am looking forward to your posts, @borrowedearth. I too, enjoy the friendships we have made here. The encouragement we receive is invaluable. Building relationships through engagement is the only way to grow.
Friendships and Personal Clarity are my main gains here these days. Both are priceless. Hugs
