Exactly my concern... Make no mistake, steemit.com is now a centralized platform.
If they want to they could have voted on their own "proposals"

Most likely with a hard-fork, creating 2 chains (let's call them SteemItTron & SteemClassic).
One of them will have the dApps, the community(ies), the best front ends, and hopefully the 4 StInc folks who've resigned so far.
The other one will have Justin Sun and the "steemit.com" URL.
