A waste of time on Steemit
I think the fad on Steemit is fading. I have my fair share of fun here but I think it is time to move on. Steem seems like an idea that would fail eventually. Why do I say that? Look at the value of Steem, it has dropped so much which means a lot of big holders of Steem are actually selling when the price is high. Without these big account holder support, it is easy to see Steem heading the direction similar to dogecoin.
The average earnings by most users are close to nothing. If you are here for the money, stop wasting your time. However the interesting thing is that there are friends to be made here. So at least an area that I find worthy of my time spent here.
When did you join this platform?
More than 2 months ago. Look at my earnings and you will know that your time would be better spent elsewhere.
Maybe check back a little later... :) I think this thing is still evolving. I am here because of the other people I have met. I have had several chats with users from all over the world. I think that part of Steemit is wonderful. I spend more time reading than posting myself. I read for a few hours a day. I don't think i can stop now... lol

It's fading because of the way the distribution of $$$. When you see B.S. makingh lots of $$$, and good work getting 0, many people are just gonna stop trying.

Look at https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/steem/usd price is dropping non stop for steem.
My interest has faded. You can make some great points in articles and it gets very little interest.
If you are after money this platform is useless. But definitely a good place to meet new people.
