Why i keep coming back to steemit instead of Facebook

Steemit vs Facebook

In the past, before i got introduced to steemit, i would regularly go onto Facebook to check what's happening. Lately, i haven't felt the urge to do this anymore and rather check steemit out. But why? I've made a list of four distinct reasons:

Steemit gives me the opportunity to turn my creative juices into money

Although in the beginning stages of steemit it takes awhile to start making money, if you stay consistent with your content and build up your reputation, this dream of making money on steemit can become a reality. One needs to put their frustration aside and be patient because this process can take time. I love writing and steemit gives me the opportunity to share my thoughts with different people around the world and make money in the process.

Steemit gives me the opportunity to support other artists and writers

By upvoting and commenting constructively on others posts to motivate them it gives a person a sense of satisfaction. Steemit allows me to engage in other inspiring writers and artists and give them the motivation they need to carry on doing what they do. There's no greater feeling than seeing others thrive on steemit!

Steemit gives me the opportunity to look at various topics of interest

Steemit allows me to enter the minds of others, to travel the world with others through photos, it keeps me informed about breaking news about cryptocurrency, and various other topics. It is a great source of learning new and important information about the world. The articles are endless and one never gets bored.

Steemit is a friendly social networking site where one can express their opinion

The steemit community have proven to be very friendly and willing to help newcomers like myself. Steemit offers me a platform to express my opinion without negativity coming my way afterwards. Like-minded people get to comment and upvote my posts and i'm able to do the same with theirs. 

Not even a week into steemit and i have already considered deleting my Facebook account as i don't see the need for it anymore. I'm excited to see what the future holds for steemit and wouldn't be surprised if more people leave Facebook for steemit!
