Don't revoke your upvote if you have already upvoted something because your vote power will decrease anyway. For example if you have upvoted some post with 100% vote power and have revoked your vote for 10 times your vote power will decrease significantly without any benefits for you.

I've spotted it some hour ago when i was playing with the vote power and upvoted my own posts with different settings.
That's pretty good advice.
