RE: Steemit Abusers and Steemit Police: who are they and how to Play Fair? (En/Ru)

in #steemit8 years ago

No offense, I respect anyone who is trying to build any platform a better place for their users, but we are on the network where you can BUY your reputation and visibility with bots. It is allowed and it is even promoted by the most successful bloggers. If you don't buy, then your post will be simply invisible. As long as this kind of practice exists bringing morality in is very very relative.

I cant spam people for some reason, but they who can just be doing what is allowed. If we want to make this place better we need to come up with the idea to change the algorithm or rules.

So, spamming is allowed but is somehow immoral and it will be judged by the "Steemit police" but hey, you can buy your reputation with bots, that's ok.

I'm trying to understand the logic here, but I cant. It seems to me like "Let's fight those little guys trying to earn few dollars, but we can leave those who are earning thousands, they are already too big, they can outrank us easily"
