RE: CM Report - Meet Our Next LMs: Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese
Another lovely addition to this terrific series. As always, it's great to "meet" the people behind the work being done. We've got such a great team, and this series truly captures that.
Since I know you always appreciate corrections, I'm going to point our a couple of issues of grammar, style, and proofreading I found in the post.
Through these interviews, I hope to help build a great team spirit among our translators, as well as to give everyone...
Two issues here. In "build a great team spirit," the word "a" is redundant. That is also the case with the word "to" in "as well as to give everyone." You "hope to" do these things, so the second "to" isn't needed.
Watching movies is one of her favorite past time.
Two issues, both with the same two words: "past time." The first issue is that it's not two words. It's one word: Pastime. The other issue is that if something of "one of," the thing it's one of should be plural. So the sentence should be: "Watching movies is one of her favorite pastimes."
