Scam incidents are becoming more often lately. I have read quite a few posts the last week related to various scam alerts, like this one. I also had my own experience in steemit chat. Thanks for the alert @gregory-f
I have heard there have been scam attempts in steemit chat also. It seems we must be vigilant no matter where we are.
There is a user in the steemit.chat "mottler" that tries to confuse people with the real steemit user "mottler" that his 100% upvote worths around $300 usd. He asks a transfer of 10 Steem to his bittrex account for upvoting 100% two posts.
