It seems to me that the only way to make it match 1 USD is by inflation and so all it's doing is devaluing it. Or do I misunderstand? If people want to spend money on Steem Dollars and make it hugely valuable then why not? If you force them away then you take away value from the platform. I feel like my vote and rewards are MORE valuable this way.
