The strength to hold firm even in adversity: My message to @surpassinggoogle and all others going through tough times

Life is not a perfect equation, there are lots of uncertainties and we must always remember that it's up to us to choose the option we feel is best for us.
I was about writing a science post when I quickly decided to reply some comments and I saw one from @surpassinggoogle, I realized that this was a guy going through pain, some people might offer sympathy for upvotes, some might offer genuine warmth, but the truth is that it is our duty as a community to be our brother's keeper.

This post is dedicated to @surpassinggoogle and others out there who are going through a rough patch but have to put up a smile so that everyone else around them can be happy.

Those who often times cheer others up or try to put a smile on the faces of others are often times the saddest ones themselves.

History does not have to repeat itself before we take actions on certain issues. The truth is one day, we will all die (if immortality is not perfected), and when that day comes, we might be forgotten with time, it might take an hour, a day, a week, a month, a year or even years, but everyone eventually gets forgotten with time.

Heck! Even Christians have a hard time remembering their Savior and that is why we constantly have to go to church on sunday and other days for some denomination and other religious bodies.
No matter what we do, we cannot resuscitate a dead man, we might try to immortalize his legacy, but if we did nothing to save him while he as alive, then everything we do is a waste.

Michael Jackson was crowned the king of pop, I virtually knew all his dance routines, I was his number one fan, but guess what, today I am not sure when last I even played any of his tracks, same goes for a lot of his fans.

Everyone carries a lot of hurts, might be emotional, physical, mental or what have you, but remember that someone else's hurt might be greater than yours, spare more than an upvote, spare a decent comment, leave a message, even try and call, remember that dead men tell no tales.

The beauty of life dwells in it's mortality, but also, another beauty is in the ability to say I helped others but when I was down, some people also helped me too.
The truth is we have so many followers and social media friends that we do not realize that 90% are fake, they are just there for eye service and beneficial reasons.

The day the ship starts sinking is the day they will start porting. Life is not smooth, but with so many followers and friends, we often wonder why our lives are far from perfect, it is because like I always say...

Perfection is an illusion created by some to favor some.

No matter how you look at it, a lot of people will definitely give you a smile in front and a knife to the back, don't stop doing good. Some might say that "it's not their business." It is your business to be caring and responsible towards your neighbor.

The most painful part is that people do not know that there is a connection between depression and suicides. If eventually, the person commits suicide, they will now come around and donate upvotes and comments towards an eulogy written by another person who will claim to know the person and all that the individual was passing through.

My questions to such people are these, you knew they were suffering, how many posts did you write about it? will the proceeds of such a post go to the dead person or your bittrex wallet?
Now to those who will vote such eulogies and comment but never for once commented on the person's blog while he was living, what is the rationale behind that? if you were so busy as not to be able to comment then, how did your schedule suddenly clear up for an eulogy post?

I know some will say steemit is not a charity center, but remember, some people got to the top by some "charitable acts" Everyone counts and in surpassing's words, everyone is a winner.
Sometimes when I chat with him, I see someone who has the ability to love and suppress his own pain to see others smile, it is only fair we are there for him and countless others too.

A simple how are you Terry from time to time on steemit chat or discord will go a long way, he might not need cash(or he might), but I am very sure the assurance that he is loved by the community he treasures will go a long way.

@surpassinggoogle, we gat your back, we wish your mum speedy recovery, we wish you relief from your pains, we wish you happiness in your sorrows, love above all.
Keep doing what you are doing and remember that even if one person get's your message, then you have suceeded.
To @surpassinggoogle like no other, a man who has already surpassed google.

Surpassinggoogle deserves every good thing coming his way, but life sometimes like throwing us a curved ball. But with hopes high and our faith in things unshaken, we would always jump through the hurdles to the finish lines. They'd be scratches, and some thorns, but finally we would get the finish line and savour the moment when we are handed the gold.
It is only for the moment. Wishing surpassinggoogle's mother a speedy recovery and the very best of health. Peace.

@greenrun, that was amazing, surpassing deserves the best of life

Yes, he deserves it. I have been down this road, I know how it is waiting on the phone to ring, fearing what the outcome could be. The wait, the hopelessness, the uncertainty could drive someone over the hill.

nice message @greenrun and we stand together @surpassinggoogle no matter what .. one day time will change

This is deep, very deep and not only are you telling @surpassinggoole, you also delivered a message to me. Thank you so much and yes I was a Micheal fan too 🙈and can't remember when last I played his songs.. You just reminded me of that. Thank you.

I need to add this @surpassinggoole, always know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel once you believe and keep hopes alive. My love to your mum and all I pray for her is quick recovery! Sending lots and lots of love your way.💜💜💜

Spread the message, glad to see a fellow Michael fan too

I will boss! Thank you.

💜 I really need to read this today and also wish everybody warmness and strength to master difficult days ( including myself)
You are a Beautiful human being!

Thanks @mammasitta, I really appreciate that

I love the part that says: "The most painful part is that people do not know that there is a connection between depression and suicides. If eventually, the person commits suicide, they will now come around and donate upvotes and comments towards an eulogy written by another person who will claim to know the person and all that the individual was passing through."

The first post I read from @surpassinggoogle was the one of last week where he posted a picture of his mum lying sick on the hospital bed. I fell more pity when I read he still tries to give his all to the community despite his ailing morale.

I was moved by that singular act of selflessness that the least I could do as a newbie was to upvote, make comment and pray for his mum. I agree with @ehiboss of the need to always reach out for our members "in deed". May God rekindle and replenish him and "his".

The guy is simply amazing, where most people (probably myself included) will see reasons to excuse themselves from their responsibilities, he prefers to do more.

I really appreciate your work and fully agreed your words you wrote in the praise of @surpassinggoogle. He is a great man who absorb his own pain.

Those who often times cheer others up or try to put a smile on the faces of others are often times the saddest ones themselves.

I hope the speedy recovery of Terry's Mother and best wishes, she will get well Soon, (AmeN)

I hope she gets a miraculous healing...we all love @surpassinggoogle

Thank you very much @ehiboss for the consolation. Good friends are known in the times of trouble coming their friends way. I cherish this. Everything is gonna be alright @surpassinggoogle, and to others.

Keep encouraging him, he's a good person
