You are not the only one who had that hopes.... But I guess until the supply is not cut down by the hardfork it will not happen, still to many Steems get printed every day.
I'm not sure that price will go up. For many there will be no reason to keep their Steem locked. I know I will power down. 10% is nothing for Steem. Daily price fluctuation is usually around that number.
