📢 Announcement on Account Registration Verification Method Update
We are planning to disable the SMS verification code function for the registration channel and replace it with a limited whitelist email mechanism.
This adjustment aims to help users create a Steem account more quickly.
Current Planned Email Domain Whitelist
The email domains currently included in the planned whitelist are as follows:
- gmail.com
- googlemail.com
- yahoo.com
- yahoo.com.hk
- zoho.com.cn
- yahoo.co.uk
- qq.com
- 163.com
- sina.com
- icloud.com
- mail.ru
- zoho.com

I believe these changes will significantly simplify the registration of new users.
I propose adding the following Ukrainian postal services to the whitelist. During e-mail registration there, such personal data as a phone number is used, and they are not used for spam.
The last three domains are the same service — i.ua
