I have now been on steemit for 9 weeks, which means I have been on steemit for just over two months. Each week my account seems to grow more and more and I'm excited to see what the future holds for me on steemit.

Followers

When I was writing my update on my account last week I had just hit 160 followers. Since then I have had 21 new people press the follow button on my account and put me at 181. This has now put me over halfway between my previous milestone of 100 and my next milestone of 250. It always amazes me that people find my content worthy of giving my account a follow and at this current rate 3 people are making that decision every day.

Posts

Last week I was nearing the big 500 for the amount of posts/comments that I have made on my account. This week I passed that and now have 513 made. I am currently sticking to doing one post a day as opposed to the two that I was making before I started my exams. This is because I'm finding it much more fun to be able to put more effort into one post; in fact this week I researched how much new steem is created everyday and made a post on it. This has now become my longest post with over 1250 words. My weekly series "Throwback Thursdays Video Games" has also done exceptionally well this week and is currently worth $62.

Steem

My steem power has shot over the 300 mark this week and I now have 316. I am currently working towards getting 483 steem power so that I can unlock my slider. At the moment I'm having to be really stingy with my voting power but if I get the slider I will be able to share more to more people. I also have over $5 in SBD which I am letting build up. All the SBD that I build up comes from 50% of the payouts from my comments which I save to buy stuff I want; in fact I just used some to buy my first two ever blu-rays which I made a post on. I'm contemplating whether locking away my steem power from posts is the best play, or opting for the 50/50 payout so that my SBD builds up faster.
