It's really weird how 50 sp accounts can't really comment much. How are people supposed to grow if they are punished for trying? I don't know how exactly the scaling is working right now, but I think it should grow a lot more from 15 to 100 sp than say from 100 to 1000. Something like that.
My friend here on steemit has 50 SP, he's holding off commenting because he's running out of RC too fast. How is he supposed to keep networking, then? He's doing the thing non-whales are supposed to do the most, but he's running his head on the new system's wall.

I think it is a trial and error until we understand this thing... But I do not like that "rich" people can comment more.
This puts too much focus on growth rather than social engagement.

How much %X your friend gets decreased from his/her RC when (s)he comments? Did (s)he try different times a day or different days and got similar results? It can be easily checked with Steemd.com
I still don't understand how RC works but I think it's related the witnesses working at the time.

I agree 10000 SP account will never use all of their RC. It should matter a lot more for your first 500
That is actually debatable. Popular apps need that much RC, but not every 10k SP user. Hmm, it just got a little more complicated.
