Hey runicar! Great post as usual, to answer your question I became interested in Steemit after hearing about it on a Youtube video, not quite sure which one but the opportunity to write about things I was passionate about peaked my curiousity. So I checked it out and saw how the Steemit platform can change and improve lives, I was also inspired by how the community helps and support one another, that's why I joined.

My long term plan is to invest money into Steemit but currently I'm battling a condition that prevents me from working, but when I go back to work I'll definitely be investing. It's not about the money for me, it's being able to post content to wake up the nation, those that are sleeping and unaware they have power to effect change.
