I was of course wondering why you pulled your support.
Anyone can opt back in, the bot only downvotes those who are opposed to having the comments on their post and have opted out, this was clearly a personal decision by the author. There is no retaliation or vendettas. Downvoting for disagreement of rewards is a fundamental requirement for Steemit's long term success.
Buildawhale was used on this post and he opted out here:

The two criterion are in place for this post.
100% of the rewards that Bernie said where being taking from the rewards pool by me are being used to run this bot. Not one cent has left Steemit, I am doing this to try to bring awareness to the fact that bidbots are destroying steemit, hopefuly it is not too late.
Above all, there is no ill feelings for ANYONE, I wish everyone success, including this author.

You downvoted a post that had zero bidbots, the one highlighted in this post, it was upvoted by @v4vapid not a bot, you have no credibility left. And trying to suck back up to @freeborangel is not going to help you.

The post used resteemyou which was not technically a bidbot, so this was a mistake. I have offered to upvote your posts and you told me where to stick it, so I am taking that as a no thanks.
@freebornangel deserved the truth.

I call bullshit, you are upvoting your own comments to profit, when you upvote two of my posts, with every account you used to downvote 2, I will call it quits, until then, stick a finger up your own arse.

Bidbot users got no grounds to complain, they dont own the public square.
They can rule their own posts, but to make blanket flags on other people's posts is abusive, imo.
It certainly lacks discernment, and class.
Maybe i support the effort and want the comment visible, but i dont get that choice 'because its their stake'.

They take rewards from us all by hiring/being thugs to use their advantage in the math to profit at our expense, 'because they can'.
Any rewards not voluntarily voted to an account by another are ill gotten, imo.

Everyone has a right to upvote anyone they agree with on rewards. That is if they feel a post deserves greater rewards they should up vote it.
If ANYONE feels a post deserves less rewards they should downvote it. This is the pure and simple foundation.
I downvote posts that use bidbots simply because I do not feel a post that purchased votes deserves this vote as it was ill gained.
BUT ... The bot ignores all such posts as long as they allow the bot to post a summary about the paid votes, this is a massive compromise. This means the bot hands out grace, not retaliation.
Deliberator has been taken off the auto select list for the moment.

Something was said about a resteembot, and that he shouldnt have been flagged in the first place?
If thats the case, perhaps you should go out of your way to atone for that.
I know him to be really passionate about living right, and he feels wronged and will react passionately to that.
Other than not keeping the downvotes reserved for bot voted posts i still support the effort.
I will let this playout and reevaluate my delegation in the future.

Yes, he used bidbots on multiple posts including this one with buildawhale, but the post that was selected for downvoing, the "bot" used was resteemyou which IS in the list from steembottracker, but it really is not a full blown bid bot.
He (or someone) did pay to have these voters resteem and VOTE on his post, so bots where used to vote up the post. These are the facts.
But I have taken all resteemers off the list. Paying to resteem is not an issue, but these resteemers now vote up your post with 50 some small accounts. So they absolutely are paid voters, but much smaller.
The bot did not make a mistake, it just had the filter lower than it should have. I have moved that up to $50.00 just like the comments.
I really do not want to punish, there is plenty of that type of abuse on the platform. This bots purpose is to help protect all of us who do not use bidbots from this theft of rewards by creating a program of education and information on all posts that have chosen to use bots.
I have taken him off the list just the same. I do believe this is compassion and compensation, since this post alone would probably be selected for downvoting by the bot if he was not removed from the list.
It is a complex and passionate subject. All we can do is follow our hearts.

It really is not worth it and I do not think it can be saved.
I have never seen so much perversion of the truth, so much hatred and evil in all my life. I don't mind vocal abuse, but the depth of this malignancy, this utterly twisted and lost experiment we call Steemit, is falling so quickly into an abyss, and those who can save it are afraid to speak out and those who are killing it, are unwilling to accept they are the problem.
There is really no reason to believe it can be saved, when the loudest voices or the biggest wallets are somehow more respected than the wholesome truths we should all hold dear.
Transparency bot has been shut down and it will not return.

Idea was good if people could opt in, he is forcing his bot on people, then upvoting via other accounts, to reap rewards, so idea ok , execution not.
Yeah, he shouldve included the opt out sooner.
I guess there was some conversations ignored or something.
The rough edges just need smoothed off.
As for downvoting those that opt out, well, we all get a say in rewards, 'its his stake'.
