I don't think the view count is in the algorythm. I think it's a combination of upvote,replies and time. What I don't understand is that some posts that have more replies are below posts with less replies eventhough they've been published at the same time.

To be honest I'm not even sure if it's an algorythm or dan doing is preferred selection :)
