I understand that the original period for powering down your STEEM power was 104 weeks (2 years) but I've heard recently in a posted vid that this has been changed to 3 months.
Does anyone else know if this is true?

I'm new to steem, what does this mean?
Basically you should know steem is a platform where you can earn money. first it has a social platform that you are on now. by just sharing your stories you get paid. second is that it has a digital coins like bitcoins ... the currency is called steem which is a hot cake investment for the wise. You can buy some steem keep it in your wallet and hope each of those steems value at $10 in 7 months. just like bitcoins steem can also be converted to dollars and later cash.
