ADVICE PLEASE

I dated a man for years, back in 2000. His mother is a dog groomer that makes appx. $35 per dog, 20 dogs per day doing this.
In the last two years, I got my first puppy. He is like a member of my family!!
I know this woman is VERY ABUSIVE toward the dogs when she grooms them!! Now that I have a pet of my own… it TERRIFIES me!! What should I do!????
