Is Steemit Improving with HF20
Seems like a majority of Steemians have by now made their peace with HF20's problems, in fact most of them are now looking for how this hardfork will make the Steemit experience so much better. Personally I see no benefit in it for users, perhaps STINC does have a point about paying for resources spent, but somehow I think this is BS also, I have never used more than what I was allowed to use, I never over posted, over commented or over voted, I think I hardly ever went above 10 comments or 10 votes a day, and I could do way more than that before and after HF20.
So if I can do the same thing at the same cost what is the difference? But anyway I really don't have a good understanding of this so maybe I am just talking crap. I want to see what the direct benefit is for users as a lot of posts now are about this.
Let's see, it stops spam on its tracks. This one I doubt very much, if anyone can still create a lot of accounts, they can just instead of having 5 spamming accounts have 50, but you might say that would mean a high cost in RC's? Well wouldn't that depend on what return the spammer is expecting? And anyway I am not worried about spam, it is a nuisance nothing I can't handle in fact I just ignore it, and anyway if you do look at things objectively most of the content on Steemit could be considered spam, yes, mine also. Now scams those worry me, because you never know when you can fall for one of them, several people have had their accounts hijacked already, and scams are very difficult to ward against.
Then I would have though that with the implementation of RC's and with the stops it supposedly puts on activity, people would want to have their SP available so that they can get all the RC or mana possible. This I would have thought would have a big impact on bid bots which would see their delegated SP greatly reduced as people withdrew it because they want SP more than the profits bid bots give. Somewhere this idea was shown to be wrong, bid bots are back, in fact I read a couple of posts from these owners that they are now better than ever, I looked at the trending page and yes they really are back.
Articles are way below what they were before in quantity, quality is about the same, I guess some people left and probably not as many are joining, I guess some of those that leave don't have much good to say about Steemit and that could reduce sign ups.
Well, maybe there are a lot of positive sides to the HF20 changes, it's just that I actually can't see that many, and the screw up they made with the implementation was no help either.

The future will be great and HF20 should benefit the whole Steem blockchain!
