RE: Gifts, Milestones and Giving Thanks

Okay, so I guess I'm six months behind you in this journey called life, and I am happy for and agree with all of your sentiments. Having your son there after not seeing him in person for a long while must have been great, and of course the longer Brian keeps going, the better.

We've got both our sons and their families staying with us right now, which means an eighteen month old, a two week old, and another grandson on the way (in May). It can have its moments, but for the most part, I wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, @lynncoyle1. :)

Yep, somewhere during this year, you and I established the fact that we're the same age; but thank you for clarifying that I'm six months older than you haha It was so great having Patrick here, and thank you for your kind thoughts about Brian too. Fingers crossed we can have this conversation a year from now too.

Wow! So your house is full! Your wife must be in heaven and I'm glad to hear for the most part, you're enjoying it too :)

Merry Christmas to you and your family too Glen :)

My wife has actually been having some ups and downs with it, mainly due to the daughters-in-law, but with one just recently giving birth to a baby boy who weighed in well over nine pounds and took 23 hours to deliver, and the other who is again pregnant, fighting nausea and then food poisoning, there's just been a lot of emotion and pain and so forth, even though I manage to miss most of it (I have a detached office to hide in).

So, anyway. She's enjoying the grandchildren, but the interactions with their mothers are up for grabs at any given moment. :)

re: six months older

Well, even I am getting to the point where I don't need to be reminded of how old I am. Except sometimes the body complains that it must be older and therefore being able to say I'm actually 20 years younger than what it likes to think I am is actually a good thing. :)

Of course, the daughters-in-law! There are a lot of crazy hormones flying around that house. Thank goodness you have a detached office :)

haha my body complains of the same some times!
