Money follows value
Money follows value is the one rule that never changes.
Think of it like this: money is just a receipt for value you gave someone else. No value, no receipt.
How it actually works:
1. Solve a problem people will pay to make disappear
Traffic in Port Harcourt? Food delivery at odd hours? Helping small shops get customers online? The bigger and more painful the problem, the bigger the check. Rich people don't chase money, they chase problems.
2. Make the value obvious
You can be the best welder, designer, or tutor in the city. If no one knows, money won't find you. Value + visibility = money. Post it, talk about it, show results.
3. Increase leverage
Trading hours for money has a ceiling.
Leverage is: systems, other people, products, and technology. One YouTube video can help 10,000 people. One product can sell while you sleep. That’s when money starts following you instead of you chasing it.
4. Be consistent until you’re trusted
People pay people they trust. Show up 10 times. Deliver 10 times. The 11th time, money shows up before you even ask.
5. Get better at the skill, not just the hustle
Hustle gets you cash. Skill gets you wealth. The person who can create more value per hour will always get paid more per hour.
The test:
Ask "Did I make someone's life easier, faster, better, or more fun today?"
If yes, money has a reason to find you. If no, you’re just hoping.
So the real question isn't "how do I get more money?"
It's "how do I create 10x more value this month?"
What kind of value are you most excited to create right now? Skills, products, services, content? Let's figure out how to package it so money can actually follow.
