My Steem Story Stats + Mene

Sometimes it is fun to look back.

I had completely forgotten about steemstory.com , a site @rolandp made a long long time ago.

Well, a long time in Steemit time.

Because so much happens on Steemit, a few months can seem like forever on Steemit. I had a conversation abou this with @coruscate a couple days ago.

I decided to look up my own stats on steemstory, and this is well... my story!

^That number doesnt seem that interesting out of context. Except when you consider the size of Steemit nearly 2 years ago:

It was a lot smaller than it is now (and Steemit is still really small compared to where it could be 2 years from NOW)

I’m not saying I can predict every trend. Just remember where you heard about Mene first 2 years from now :)

What else did I learn from Steem Stories of interest?

Another interesting stat on Steem stories is it will tell you what you would receive from a power down scenario. (I’m not powering down everyone!)

We all know that STEEM has pullback dramatically in the past few months (but is certainly a lot higher than where it was 2 years ago!) so hopefully the power down numbers will be inspirational to long term stakeholders as it is a reminder there is value to be generated here on Steemit.

I had fun seeing these stats and it was an overall cool reminder of this special place we call home. I think it will be great fun checking these states again in 2 more years when I have forgotten all about the site again!
