How to add Tables in Steemit Post without typing markdown or HTML code (Convert Word table)
Hello All,
You can create a table in your posts by 2 ways:
1. Using Raw Markdown Editor
Use pipe “|” to add vertical separation and hyphens “-” for horizontal separation.
2. Using simple HTML tags
But it's not what I recommend in this post today. The problem is if you have a table with many rows and columns. It will be time-consuming to retype in those ways.
Luckily, you can convert a Word table to clean HTML.
- Access to https://word2cleanhtml.com/
- Paste your tables
- Copy back the code and paste in the editor
Here's an example
Company |
Contact |
Country |
Alfreds Futterkiste |
Maria Anders |
Germany |
Centro comercial Moctezuma |
Francisco Chang |
Mexico |
Ernst Handel |
Roland Mendel |
Austria |
Island Trading |
Helen Bennett |
UK |
Laughing Bacchus Winecellars |
Yoshi Tannamuri |
Canada |
Magazzini Alimentari Riuniti |
Giovanni Rovelli |
Italy |
That's it. Easy right?
