My Esteemed Steemians - @jayna

So, I’ve decided to make a weekly post about one among the many cool Steemians in this community. Why? Because they’re awesome! You are awesome! And awesomeness deserves recognition. Not that a lot of attention will be gathered from my post but hey, a grain of sand, right?

This week’s Esteemed Steemian

When I first thought about this, a lot of users came to my mind. I decided that, among all of the cool names that wandered around in my head, the first one I’d write about was going to be not other than @jayna.

The reason

@jayna has taken over the incredible task of hosting the 50 words stories challenge, a weekly event that gathers an amazing group of writers who, guided by the selected prompt of the week, create a plethora of short stories that condense, in 50 words, any amount of things: from deep feelings, to interesting reflexions, to funny packed stories and more. (Check this week’s edition here!)

Every week @jayna not only provides us with a new prompt, she also picks some of the most outstanding pieces from the previous week and features them in her post, hence giving the authors a much deserved exposition. As if that wasn’t enough, @jayna really takes her time to read and comment on the stories tagged with the fiftywords tag, encouraging everyone to keep writing these little pieces of art.

She is also a very dedicated editor, concise and precise on what needs improvement, never forgetting to compliment the good parts and always willing to answer any writing-related question.

Between that and the fact that she often resteems post related to good causes, @jayna is definitely one of those Steemians we should all look up to.
