RE: Not Posting as Often, Because of Karma
I was just having a serious conversation and thought about the Law of Balance with a few people over the past few days, and today, I had a conversation too over how people are using bidbots for articles which in my personal opinion, are not worth the amount of votes and money received. Why I say so, is because being someone who is passionate about writing, I daresay I know a good article when I see it.
The thing is I don't have a judgement over where and who money "chooses" to go to. Well, I don't think I do anyway. I do genuinely feel that where money goes to, there is a reason for it. Like what you said about dropping your money, and you restoring balance in some way or form energetically. Balance to me is important to maintain - and I understand it.
But, I definitely can't say I agree with things such as getting more than your fair amount of share (in the case of my bidbot example) so perhaps you can help me out with this viewpoint here. That's why it's just nice that I get to chance upon people like you who do understand about maintaining this balance.
The vote-bot thing did cross my mind when I was writing this. I've found some gigs before that were definitely easy money, but I found that those gigs never last. I don't expect to try to say who should get rewarded for what they do or don't do, and it's none of my business in a truly free market, but I guess karmically I stick with the premise that nothing comes free in the world for me.
I have heard stories of communities of Buddhists praising and thanking their oppressors because that tyrant had corrected some past karmic debt for the community and it's people. Now that is some serious devotion to the idea of karma there, but if karma is real, then it should work in exactly that fashion, and to be able to find that value in misfortune might be the correct way to manage a balance. I'm not really a Buddhist, but I can see their point.
As for anyone who is making large amounts of easy money in any way; as far as I can tell, that never works out well. It's like lottery winners ending up in worse shape than ever after receiving all that dough, the more money, the more troubles ahead. In the case of the trending page's drama with bid bots, there is a lot of hate going towards a few individuals, but again, that hate is liable to return to sender, and also creates a world with more hate in it, so I don't participate in that.
Yes, there is alot of drama going on with bit bots, internal political issues within local groups etc., would just like to get your personal opinion here, how long do you see the longevity of the Steemit platform given it is beginning to feel like a situation where people are scrambling to put themselves first, the ones who can afford bitbots do, and so more of the reward pool goes to them etc etc, ?
I know that decentralization will definitely continue to happen, blockchains, new cryptos etc, but just the longevity of them, their lifespan, and in my question, Steemit. What are your thoughts? @therealpaul
