Yeah right...humans are prone to attract eachother...u can t just ignore and pretend...at least for how long you can, 1 month, 3..1 year..2?something will have to give sooner or later. You can.t pretend just because you have this idea stuck in your head..if you re married you will either have to change jobs or work place or even job to avoid harming the person you trully love.

That doesn't work for me. my colleagues are also my friends. And since I moved across the world for my job, they're also my only friends. I have no time to find people who don't work in the same industry as me and actually socialise enough with them over a long enough period of time to form friendships.
My colleagues are it.
They're my friendship pool and my dating pool.
I would be alone and miserable if that wasn't the case.
But then I also work in an industry that is very intense and very, very casual at the same time. We are all creative, passionate workaholics and a little bit crazy too. There's no such thing as "suit and tie" where I work. unless it's "fancy friday" at the office haha
I know the work environment we have is unusual. So I guess I'm the exception.
