Where Steemians Go to Think

This is a park across the street from the library from which I'm currently writing a lot of my posts. A well manicured park surrounded by trees and headed by a tall building is pretty common fair for any major city, but it's good to be outside in something resembling nature while I eat my lunch and consider the future.

I'm considering a future where even the trees and the building are there own iota nodes with history and value. Hopefully, value won't exist merely in the form of money, anymore. I'm not sure how many people have caught on, but there's no reason for us to be limited to mere exchange value when considering our world, now that the internet and blockchain have created opportunities for us to ascend to more abstract levels of thinking.

But the as technology increases in its reach and pervasiveness, I think things like parks will become even more important. Of course, with the advent of VR it might well be possible to take a tour of the city and never leave home. Still, it's hard for me to believe that it'll have all the same benefits for body and mind for some time.

So, be sure to get outside and spend some time ruminating, folks.
