It is real money, yes.

You can exchange to BTC in a minute or two - I made a guide here if you are interested - and then convert to USD, EURO, GBP or whatever else through your favourite exchange.

You cannot however expect to make much on a post like this - try dedicate yourself to something which interests you and publish an article about it. Do not expect to make thousands, hundreds or even a couple of dollars though - having that expectation will kill it for you very quickly. View this as an awesome opportunity and ultimately one which will be more profitable than a lifetime on Reddit and enjoy being in from the beginning.
