Goodbye Steemit
I am saying goodbye to Steemit, until there are enough 'resource allocation credits' to have a reasonably good exchange with others on this platform. My best wishes to friends I have met here.

Yo, if I send you some steem to power up, could you stay? How much do you need to boost your RC enough? Folks with low SP are really hurting, which is real shitty.
I don't want to accept resources from anyone to continue, especially my friends ;)
Bruh! That's what this shit is about. I'mma send you some steem. Power that shit up fam.
Too late.
Try this out and tell me if it is enough.
Ah hell, I think you know my views on redistribution, even if it is voluntary.
This is where your individualism breaks down.
You cant make your own shoes if you are busy plowing your field or cutting trees for toilet paper pulp, you are gonna need friends.
Its a gift, do what you will.
When you got 500sp i will be back for it.
I guess I still have some work to do here. Back when we were discussing removing social constructs from capitalism this applies broadly. I see delegation as a social construct. In a way it is a limited number of people picking winners and losers.
This manifestation when seen in capitalism is often labeled as a type of cronyism.
Also when the middle wealth is attempting to socially keep the lower wealth subsidized (if only for participation) without it affecting the top tiers it is a type of socialism that continues to spread the costs from the middle downward, to the profit of the highest tiers. It is a type of socialism for those holding the most amount of wealth.
The bottom tiers need to defect out of the system to send the signal to the top tier that what they are doing is unsustainable. If that doesn't happen the middle and bottom tiers get ground down by this type of socialism while those at the top are unaffected(or even continue to profit).
(I would reference the adage about socializing risk and privatizing profit here, but not sure if it actually models the situation that well)
I know you have the heart to want to keep someone, even someone that thinks completely different on board, and it is a testament to your good nature, but I think logically you know that that signal needs to be sent. Talking about the problem is one possibility but defecting is likely the only thing that will bring significant change.
Id be onboard with you, if anybody cared.
You can jump ship, but when the golden nugget falls from the sky, you dont get any.
Your message on the blockchain is more important than being denied entry to the official reindeer games, imo.
You cant plant seeds if you dont plow the ground.
Stinc, et al, has been designed to repel good people, that is our clue to stick to our guns.
You gotta do what you do, though.
I do hope it rains the nuggets for you, that just hasn't been my experience when models are doing this particular thing.
Usually the top tier shifts the nuggets to some other model and all that remains is dust.
Is there any way to transfer the 50 back to you?
Hey Joe, you don't have to go. There are people that are more than willing to delegate steem power for free. I'll refer you to them. We need all hands on deck for this platform to succeed
Appreciate it, but don't want to bother people who delegate, I consider it a type of rent seeking, or special treatment to seek that out.
I will pitch in a delegation. Just with the comments so far, there is certainly enough for you to be able to interact effectively.
You are still ground floor in the Seem universe.. You could be building your community now in preparation for the next breakout.
I'll pitch in too @joesal ... stay with us.
Until this RC thing is sorted out, I don't see it good to be accepting resources from others. Yall have worked hard to get where your at, I haven't been at this for very long.
I'll help you because you're a cool guy. Besides we have the SP. it's not fiat mate, just a footing. How things are supposed to be, community.
Again thank you much, but I'm not a 'kindness of the community' type of dude, it's individual ability or bust. ;)
I'm glad you bring this topic up, this is a big problem that people like myself had no idea about! Please stay, you have good friends commenting and willing to help! I noticed your post from a resteem and that means a lot, you must stay!
It really is a troubling issue, when you run out of RC you can't even tell the people you are communicating with that you ran out of RC. The system just kicks up a message and there is nothing to be done except invest more in the system that is doing this or wait for the clock to tick by.
I stay at the bottom of the system intentionally to see these types of problems, and attempt the slow ability based build up. I don't use bid bots, at least not intentionally.
Happy to delegate to a like minded freedom lover like yourself. So just let me know what you need to make it work and I'll make it happen. This is how voluntary relationships should operate, happy to help, just let me know.
Really appreciate it, but I want yall who built enough, to thrive and prosper.
Bro, look at that! See, enough people value what you say that they hooked you up with some credits.
You've helped me out a lot on here before the RC thing was a thing. Hate to see a good steemian held back by a system that's supposed to penalize scammers. Looks like you're good to go now. Check https://steemd.com/@joesal and it'll tell you your RC and recharge rates as well as how much interaction your current level will support.
You have helped me out as well and I thank you for it. I was using defecting out of the system as a way to signal that the RC thing is a bad idea. There are probably many who have went inactive or are outright defecting because of this, if too many on the bottom are retained, then that signal doesn't get to the top. It turns into a limitation of participation at the bottom, either resources are delegated, or the bottom is forced to invest to participate.
That is problematic in that it is competing against someone setting the keyboard aside and going to talk to people with no RC restrictions. It's a hella business model error IMO. A healthy model should be promoting the most participation at the bottom tiers, as that's where the new comers will be.
Ooh, how bout this.
If you don't want the steem for powering up, cool. What if I sponsor you six shares in SBI? That way we both benefit and it'll boost your post earnings a bit.
Yeah, the RC sucks for some folks, but it's a big opportunity to prove the strength of community. Folks will support and delegate to smaller accounts if they see value in them. I think it's a good opportunity.
Oh no man, sorry to see you go! You have alot of good writing on here, ill miss ya ;-)
Many thanks, your writings are superb also. I may be back if they fix this RC issue. I can't in good conscience continue with how this thing is setup.
Oh no... do t go. Steemit is the best

Too bad. Those RC are the real shit, man.
Is true. Thanks for the information you provided in the past, it helped me better understand the history.
No problem. I can provide more information anytime.
Yea, bud. Power up that 4 and a half Steem. That'll help! Plus, there are some folks who are giving out delegations like @empress-eremmy said. I'll keep an eye out and see if I can find that post again.
Thanks, powered up that 4.5, hope it gives enough to respond to all these replies. If the low power guys have to seek delegation, the lower half of the platform has jumped the shark IMO.
I buy some Steem on occasion, and power it up. Steem is what? about .80 cents right now? Can ya pick up a few?
