I don't even know what SP is, lol. I'm just here because reddit has gotten to be too negative. The people here aren't always real engaging, but nobody insults you here either.
And yeah, I upvote what I like. I don't want to have to calculate how many votes I can make in what amount of time to get the most pennies next week or whatever. It's too much trouble. If I make a little coin, that's cool. If I don't, that's cool too. If this place turns out to be nothing but people completely focused on getting Steem, then I'd rather go somewhere else.
SP is Steem Power - it is your (in)vested STEEM.
As a new user, don't worry about timing your vote for rewards - the best thing you can do is find the blogs and content you like, and leave kick-ass comments.
