My take on Steemit, you don't have to know it all.

I am a massive fan of Steemit and what it can do to change your life, but when I first joined the whole concept scared me. Me thinking I would have to learn about it all before I benefited held me back for quite a while.

Now there are a few, quite a few in here who know it all and reading some of there posts did put me off trying as it all sounded way to complicated BUT what I have realised is you don't need to know it all, aslong as you can write or have a talent you will do just fine here, yeah there are quite a few who are doing extremely well, that's because they know what there talking about and understand all the jargon. They write with experience.

My advice to anyone joining is.

Follow the person if you like what you read or are interested in the same things.

When you feel more comfortable do a introduce yourself with you holding a piece of paper.The paper needs to show Steemits name the date and your name on Steemit, you can dress the paper with up, make it stand out.
This is to verify who you are
Then sit back and enjoy.

Write about what you know, your life, what you do. Draw, Poetry whatever you like, make the post interesting and don't forget to use your tags at the bottom, pick what's related to your post.
Don't forget to reply to people that leave you comments then go and check there page out.

Once you get started it gets easier.

Don't worry about cashing out as it's nowhere near as hard as it sounds, when your ready you will learn.
