Awesome video man. People need to realize that there is no "sanctuary" where everything is suddenly better. People were always raving about how cryptos are decentralized or that steemit cannot censor people and look. No matter where you go, you will have to face your problems sooner or later. A new circumstance will not rid you of that issue permanently. Sooner or later, whatever you were running away from will catch up to you.
Have you seen the movie "The Experiment" with Forest Whitaker? People participate in an experiment in a penitentiary where some of them are prisoners and some are prison guards. That movie pretty much sums up how humans behave in certain environments. It is very similar to the story you told about the cops in Mexico.
Hey buddy, yeah it got me thinking, this is a really interesting issue. With Steemit in a way it's self governing so in essence we will be the ones in charge the same way Youtube/Adsense/ABC is in charge of Youtube's policies and such.
I think it's important people keep in mind what decentralization and a lack of central control is all about. In some sense yeah there has to be rules and there has to be a way of enforcing them but this site seems to me to want to run as free and open as possible so I think we need to be very careful about how we decide to enforce rules and policies and at least according to how I view most people on Steemits attitudes, I think most people want a hands off approach as much as possible.
I havn't seen the movie the experiment but that sounds interesting I'll have to check it out.
