I thought more highly of Steem before I was on the end of flags by the plutocratic rich rulers. Then my hope faded. I thought things would be different than the real world, and it is, but it has some things worse than regular society. Plutocracy has it's limits compared to on Steem.
I don't know what the future holds, but I support some communities. I don't know how SMTs will change things for better or worse, I need to read the whitepaper on that to really get it more I guess.
Yes, Steemit Inc. doesn't care about us much right now, that's why they don't listen much to issues on the platform right now. It's all a mess and ppl are pulling in different directions. There is no way to correct things, because Steemit inc decides it all anyways and does what they want for the most part.
I remember you mentioning that to me before about the flags. I am glad that you came back and whoever was involved didn't pick up again with it. You are one of the leaders here I hope to emulate, if this place sticks around long enough. It is hard for me to rap my mind around all of these people delegating to vote bots to squeeze every last penny out of their stake, when they could be hand picking good people they align with to help out with the simple act of an upvote.
Before I began to understand this might be a short lived demo, or that most might bolt, I had pictured myself being that person who would hand out large upvotes and make a difference in the lives of people. Good people who need someone to make a difference for them for once. This place offers so much opportunity to be what just isn't possible in our normal day to day lives.
Speaking of which, I won't be around much for another 2 days. My delegation ended and I messed up putting in my order and have to wait 2 more days for the money to be released to me from Minnowbooster. I asked them in a comment right after if they could fix it, but has been almost a day now so taking their silence as my answer, hahah. Without that slider I go from 25/30 upvotes a day to 10, which goes quick.
