If You Badmouth STEEM / STEEMIT ..
.. while using it as a platform to promote a non-complementary project, then you should not expect support from the STEEMIT community - or at least I would hope that STEEMIANS would choose not to. I saw a link to a CoinTelegraph Article Today, regarding the Dawn Project, and interview with one of the "founders" Brenn Hill ..
Saying shit like this while seeking participation and support from this community .. this 'wasted' community .. is UNACCEPTABLE!! The more professional thing to have said was, "we were INSPIRED by STEEM/STEEMIT, who are doing things a little differently than we hope to."
Deliver a superior, more valuable experience, only then will you have earned the right to shit-talk those who already have!

Never said the community was wasted, just the potential of what I think could be here. I'm glad you are interested in the project, and we hope to deliver that experience. Thank you for reading.
I disagree still on this one. The potential is huge. But like i said below, its kind of a moot point since people will be able to earn by posting to both :)

Actually, what we're interested in is the creation of a platform where people are free to shit-talk us, steem, the banana republic, exxon valdez, cheap-ass schwag weed, and anything else people want to shit-talk..... without seeing their account payouts suddenly decline to near-zero.
The third rail of steemit is criticizing steemit. Oh, and just to be clear: We were insipired by steemit. Then we were disappointed, and finally we were dissatisfied.

I am not sure that is fair. DAWN plans to reward based on views. Unpopular opinions will not be viewed as much either...
I think a statement on the dissatisfaction of steem is a bit strong. There is still huge potential here. I will admit that the steemit inc te should really have a roadmao on how thy plan to distribute the lions share of the company's holdings...
Steem will not be a world currency with the current distribution that is prominent in its present (Still-Extremely Early) state of growth and development.
With that said...DAWN plans to compliment STEEM by enabling crossposting to both platforms at the same time :)
