What I Plan to use Steemit for - Why are you here?

Running a very niche blog and message board that tailors to specific parts of the fashion world I look forward to using Steemit as a way to vocalise my opinions on broader topics.

I've looked at Steemit from the outside for the past day, reading up on hacks and other facets of Steemit such as the founder (Ned Scott) - LinkedIn here (https://www.linkedin.com/in/nedscott) and feel as though I'm comfortable with joining the conversation here.

I'd like to invite other users to share about their experiences with Steemit; I have been here less then 30 minutes as a member and am 'dipping my feet in the water', let's see how this pans out.
