ON A SECOND THOUGHT, WHY DO I HAVE TO KEEP POSTING ON STEEMIT

In a few hours, the day would have ended on my side of the equator, whereas for some in different time zones the day might just be taking off.

A lot of us cannot hide our anger at how steemit has been for us for in the last few weeks, especially with posts making less and less each day. Some have even decided to post twice or 3 times every day just to make up for the shortfall, but with what is happening lately they might decide to post 5 or 10 times daily (supposing you have nothing better to do) or even give up entirely.

I know the frustration of spending a lot of time doing research just to come up with something nice, in the end, the numbers are not just encouraging. I used to make a lot on a single post, but now, after the curators take their share of my earnings, and the steem power is removed, the steem dollars which is enticing is almost too small to mean anything.

You might be tempted to see others as doing better than you on this platform, you might want to complain and feel that there is some sort of bias going on, but let me tell you: everyone is having a hard time on steemit. Sure the numbers for some people might seem big, but when you look closely you will observe that their earnings have also dropped. They are also feeling the frustration as well, so don't get discouraged.

The challenges we are all facing on steemit is not different from what we face in our everyday lives. We must also remember that when we are chasing our dreams there come a time when things would be at a standstill or might not move as fast we want them to, do we now abandon our dreams simply because things are not happening the way we expect? The answer is 'NO'. So I challenge you to put in one more day. Spend time making your research, and write that beautiful article, and most importantly stand back and admire the beauty of work. I can assure you that one day the right person will see it, and you will get noticed.

On a Final note, there is more to life than steemit. So, don't lock yourself in a room because you want to make a few dollars. Go out and have fun, meet people, exchange ideas and contacts. Your next big break might come from there, who says that you can build something bigger steemit.

After reading your post I think of that image where a guy is mining for diamonds and just as he was close to finding them,he quits. So never quit, never give up.As Eric Thomas says : Champions keep going when they have nothing left in their tank, when theyre tired, when theyre frustrated(...).We must keep the thought in our mind that one day is gonna be our day. However,if you quit no day is ever gonna be your day. Followed and upvoted you!

There is a lot of truth to what you have said, the only way is to keep moving forward

Hello @leczy

First of all I am glad that @ehiboss chose to resteem this post.

Spend time making your research, and write that beautiful article, and most importantly stand back and admire the beauty of work.

This line is a beautiful summary of what people don't understand about their work here on Steemit.

A lot of people complain of low upvotes and choose to stop making quality content. The truth is that no one owes you anything on Steemit.

If you want anything you have to go out there and take it. If you feel that your post are not read go out there and Interact with the post of others and they will come and read yours.

Sitting in your blog and expecting people to come to you Won't help you.

Resorting to posting multiple posts that add no value won't help you either, anything you put your name on must be excellent. You have to show people why they need to value your work.

This is an amazing write up @leczy . Keep it up.

@ogochukwu

What you said is true, a lot of people just make posts and don't even bother to promote. Thanks for the response
